9-11 Park Road, Gloucester

Architects Dyer prepared the detailed planning application for a development of 9 residential flats in central Gloucester.  Following lengthy collaborative discussions with Gloucester City Council the scheme was granted planning permission in 2024 and construction is now progressing on site. The proposals include a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bed flats each with private balconies and a shared communal courtyard. The stepped building frontage repeats the pattern that was established with our neighbouring project at 5-7 Park Road and helps to articulate the facade into a series of vertical bays which respond to the adjacent terrace and repair the broken streetscape. Great care was taken to maximise the development potential whilst avoiding detrimental impacts on neighbouring amenities.
